Should I take my tongue piercing out for my MRI?

hi, to keep this short, I have an MRI soon and my tongue piercing is about 2.5 months old, healed and downsized already. The piercing is not in the area where the MRI is going to be (which is why I wasn’t even sure if I need to take it out), but I’m worried if I remove it for a few hours it will grow back in and I’ll have to get it repierced. Any suggestions?
