How to know if a girl thinks she’s settling?

Hi, just a general question but I’m wondering how to know if a girl doesn’t really think you’re all that and she’s just settling because you’re good enough. I don’t think I’ve ever been in this situation but it’s something I’m always scared of. Most of my first dates run 3+ hours and they usually turn it into a walk at some point. How do I know if on the date they think I’m just “good enough”
