With no mention of Carrier Spawns, or Naval Jets, in the most recent Tidal Strike patch notes blog post, it is officially safe to assume that these updates will not be coming to Tsuru Reef Conquest/Escalation anytime soon.

Tsuru Reef was initially branded across all marketing promotion as having Carrier HQs, Naval Jets, and even Attack Helicopters. Two months, and multiple blog/social media posts have come and gone and these features are absent.

The #HuntTheCarrier event on Discord specifically showcased the Carrier layouts for Conquest, only for this to be absent the first month of the map. The Top Gun event saw the addition of the Carriers for Conquest/Escalation; however, they’re off to the side, and completely static in terms of functionality. By all accounts, our only hope for these features was for the Tidal Strike update. With zero mention in the last blogpost, are these features only limited to Wake Island?

Tsuru Reef is awesome. Don’t get me wrong, but developing Naval Jets, Carriers, and only featuring them on ONE non-LTM map (Wake Island) seems like a huge miss. I hope these come in a future update, because their entire integration of this map is baffling. A huge wasted potential, and miscommunication on all fronts.

We were lied to.
