Influencers and hype.

I am absolutely over seeing influencers flood my socials with fragrance content. You can’t even breathe without them slamming you over the head with whatever just landed in their mailbox. Most of them genuinely don’t even put the effort into having a distinguishable brand or scent. Seeing shelves with absolutely crazy amounts of glass bottles and taking up entire rooms with them while recommending lists of fragrances that are several hundreds of dollars is just gross.

I recently saw some lady legit say “I don’t use this, but I think you’ll like it.” What does that even mean?

Bring back people who actually curate a brand and have interesting things to say, rather than just try and sell you another adjacent vanilla by reading off a paper card.
