Question about Sibo Antibiotics

Hello, I’m methane + hydrogen positive. I just started Xifaxan + Neomycin yesterday. I understand that 1 day is definitely not enough to see improvements. But im wondering if it’s normal to get extremely bloated this quickly?

I’ve had pretty regular bowel movements the past month and have been eating strict low-fodmap which has helped so much with my gas + bloating. I’ve able to have a decent sized stomach / reduced bloating and could actually wear my tank tops again without being super insecure.

Today is day 2 of the antibiotics but my stomach is so distended, I feel sharp gas pains and my yoga pants I wear like every day feel super tight and I feel like a balloon when I walk. Is this normal for this to happen so quickly? I don’t feel flu / fever or chills. Mild nausea w the neomycin but that’s all.

Also, was I supposed to take a biofilm disrupter beforehand? I have NAC but haven’t taken it. I’m also wondering if the extreme bloating + increase in gas pains is going to be persistent during all of the antibiotics course. Am I supposed to eat fodmaps?

also, I just finished my period and my stomach has been calm and barely bloated all last week so I’m confident when I say this morning is a drastic difference from yesterday morning + the day before.
