Did anyone feel Spiderman was a flop too?

People criticizing Insomniac after Wolverine has normalized my initial hate for Spiderman. When I first downloaded it, it was boring. The swinging wasnt that fun either. I was hoping for an Arkham experience. Given that it was GOTY and how ppl obssesed over it, I thought I was in the minority and maybe Im not appreciating the game enough.

After Wolverine, seems Im not alone in recounting Spiderman critcisms. Its like Insomniac is just reusing the Ratchet and Clank engine. I couldnt even finish the PS5 one, it was fun in PS2 though.
