Rentals in NW Portland?

Looking for a rental in NW Portland, $1500 or less. Had a great space with a private landlord, but they sold the place and new owner isn’t great and has hired a not so great property management company to run things. All in all it’s been a few months and things haven’t been great—construction with no notice given etc so surprise just deal with a bunch of noise. New rules, just a mess really.

Hope to find an individual landlord but I know that’s more and more difficult these days. Place is just for me, no significant other or kids. Non-smoker (of anything), good rental history, excellent credit. I do have a car and no I don’t plan on getting rid of it and don’t want to debate that, have reasons that I need to keep it. Older (over 40), quiet stable adult.
