I'm in Canada and every time I buy gear it's the same story. I find a helmet way cheaper on some US or EU site, then shipping + duty + exchange rate eats the whole difference. Sometimes it ends up more than buying local. And you only find out at checkout, or when the package shows up with a DHL bill.

So about half a year ago I started building [allr.io](http://allr.io) to answer that for myself and it grew into a full thing. Posting it here because you guys are exactly who it's for.

**What it does:**

\- Pulls listings from 50+ retailers in Canada, US, UK and EU. Revzilla, Fortnine, FC Moto, Motocard, the brand stores etc.

\- Merges the same product from all of them into one page. One Alpinestars Supertech R boots page with 20+ offers instead of 20 search results.

\- Ranks them by landed cost. Price + shipping + duty + tax in your currency, not the sticker price. Example from today: Supertech R10 Element, Motostorm in Italy lists it at $1141 and J&P at $1242. After shipping and duty Motostorm is $1292. J&P is still $1242.

\- Stock is tracked per colorway per size. "In stock" means that color in that size at that store.

\- If a store doesn't ship to your country it tells you.

\- Price drop and back in stock alerts. You can set an alert on something that's sold out everywhere, which is why I built it in the first place.

\- Deals page, brand pages, buying guides, and a size translator (what's your 58cm head in Alpinestars vs Shoei vs HJC).

70k+ products, 328 brands rn.

The money question, because I know Reddit will ask:

It's free, no account needed. The buy links are NOT affiliate links. I applied to the affiliate programs and got rejected on all of them because they want traffic first. No ads, no tracking, no third party analytics. There's an optional Pro sub (unlimited alerts + an AI fitting room that renders gear on a photo of your bike, more of a fun experiment) and that's the only revenue. I'll probably join an affiliate program eventually but that won't change the ranking. Cheapest landed cost wins, nobody pays to be on top.

**What's rough:**

I'm just a one guy. Prices refresh about twice a day. Availability comes from retailer pages and some of them are messy with per size stock, so double check at checkout. Some product merges are still wrong here and there. I fix these all the time but you'll find more.

**What I want from you:**

Honest feedback and criticism. What's confusing, what's wrong, what's missing, which retailers to add. If you find a product with a wrong price or stock, drop the link and I'll fix it. If the whole idea is useless tell me that too.

Built a gear price comparison tool that includes shipping + duty to your country and tracks stock per color per size (with alerts). Would love some criticism
