Hey there, baby stripper here. I had my first audition ever tonight with barely any experience and I have contradicting responses from the club about my audition so I'd like to ask about it here
My friend that moved to my town recently from Honolulu was a stripper there for 3 years. I have been escorting and doing online sex work for years now, as well as massage therapy. I have always wanted to try stripping and only took 1 class where I was unable to master the routine, but I want to lock in and learn it now. My friend really helped me get my foot in the door in this industry Ive always been terrified to audition even though working at a club sounds like my kind of life style and I would enjoy doing it. I would never have auditioned alone if not for her so Im grateful she gave me the confidence. For the audition I wore a full face of makeup, light glitter on the eyes, winged eyeliner false lashes, and lipgloss. The makeup wasnt cakey but I did have a pimple on my chin from stressing about this audition for a week now. I am 27 white 5'2, 115 lbs 34B all natural if that matters sexy heart lace hot pink body suit that is easy to remove the top of (topless only for auditions) and clear pleaser heels, easy to walk in for me but dancing is a different story. My nails and toes were done in French tip. My hair is blonde but not naturally, and my roots are grown out badly and I didnt exactly have time to do my hair like I normally do during important stuff like this so I was a bit insecure about that since I dont have the money to afford to get my hair done right now. Anyway, I had no idea what moves to pull on stage, I think I did too much pole work for a beginner but I tried doing mostly floor dancing and ended up it being completely different than what im used to practicing on at home (carpet flooring is all I have) so its definitely a learning curve. I thought I did awful during my performance but I brought in a male friend for reassurance to watch my audition and he said 3 out of 5 stars so that made me feel a little better knowing I didnt absolutely tank it. Other than that the club was completely dead and was barely opening. My audition was at 9pm and the club opens at 10. The owner even complimented me for trying to use the pole a little, he said I did a good job and to come in tomorrow night for a shift. I was really happy since I thought I got accepted on the spot, even though they did tell us it would take 24 hours to confirm that I got the job. Then I get a text 3 hours later from the manager saying that I was rejected because they were looking for someone with more experience. Who is right in this case? The club owner or the club manager? Do I still go in to the club tomorrow? I am so confused. I was going to wait until the morning to text the manager (its almost 6am and I haven't slept yet) I asked chat gpt what to do and it told me to say this "Thank you for letting me know. I wanted to clarify because \[Owner's Name\] spoke with me after my audition yesterday and specifically asked me to come in today to start. Is there a time I could speak with both of you, or should I follow up with \[Owner's Name\] directly?" Let me know if this is a good text to send, any advice about this situation would be much appreciated
