How do you actually build a brand world on social media?

Recently, my friends and I started a business, but we are struggling to actually create a brand world. We are posting consistently, but for our product, which is kind of weird, I don't think it would sell just by posting product pictures. So do any of you have any advice or resources on how to effectively build a brand world on social media that people can feel connected to and feel a part of?
