Apply 485 While 140 pending

Good day.

I submitted 140 in 8/3/2026, and its still pending, and Dates for Filing is current in October.

Can I submit 485 while 140 is pending? I did some research, it is same concept as con-currently filing. What is the difference? Gemini and GPT says better to apply for 485 while 140 pending.

Any one did this?
