I named my marble homeware project STONED. The tagline practically wrote itself.

“A Higher State of Stone.”

I’m building a small natural marble objects project through my family’s stone business in Gujarat. A white marble vase is one of our early pieces.

I like that the name has a sense of humour. Marble can feel quite formal, and I want the brand to have some personality while taking the actual objects seriously.

The name makes me smile. Now I need to make the pieces worth remembering too.
