Hey, IT pros, this one's for you!

If you work in IT, you probably already know this: Problems never fully go away. They just come back in different forms.

Maybe it’s a ticket with unclear direction, or no detail at all so it’s more of a fill-in-the-blank type of problem. Or worse yet, the dreaded “it just stopped working.” But even with no info and all the headaches, you’re expected to figure it out anyhow. Even if it is SysAdmin Appreciation Day.

The “quick question” that turns into 20 minutes. And then you somehow get stuck listening to Brenda from Accounting giving you the deets on her niece’s boyfriend’s cousin’s hip replacement surgery.

Or the meeting that could’ve been a message. And by message, we of course mean the thinking emoji, because in the end you discussed a question that no one knew the answer to.

Same IT. Different day. ‘Amirite?’

We solved for it. Well, maybe we didn’t, but bear with us…

Ok, so we didn’t get rid of all those everyday problems BUT BUT BUT, we did make them more fun! And what's more fun than, well, fun on SysAdmin Day? Wait, don't answer that...

See, this year to celebrate SysAdmin Appreciation Day (and the weeks around it), we built a new Ace of Uptime deck around exactly those problems. Not abstract downtime threats. We mean real things you’ve probably dealt with, or are…gulp…still dealing with today.

Actual, everyday chaos:

  • The Nepo Newbie who thinks he knows it all but knows…not much.
  • The Killjoy turns every win into just another task. Check.
  • The Burnout Beast piles it on (and on and on) until everything feels like too much.

The difference? This time, you're in control.

And instead of just managing it, you play through it. You make the calls. You decide what gets fixed, ignored and handled before it becomes a problem. You battle through quick decisions that make problems go away.

What the heck is Ace of Uptime?

Oh boy, are we glad you asked! We built Ace of Uptime for the people who keep everything running smoothly, every day. And this specific deck is for SysAdmin Day, celebrating our unsung heroes.

It's a fast, decision-based card game where you step into the role you already know too well: deciding what to fix, what to ignore, what to automate and what’s about to break next.

Every move has a consequence. Every delay adds pressure. And every play is built around the kinds of decisions IT pros like you make every day to keep systems up and running. In fact, it should feel like it hits close to home (maybe even a little too close).

If you played the first Ace of Uptime decks ...and you better have!...then you know the drill. But this was made for SysAdmin Day, and there are different villains, different experiences and a whole new level of play that will knock your IT socks off.

This isn't just a game about uptime. It's a game about the people responsible for it...IT pros.

Play and play again

Because no two days in IT are the same; neither is this deck...you could have two completely different experiences with the same game. Each time you play, the cards reshuffle, new tools to beat back villains are available (but careful, so are not-so-useful ones!)...and you're right back doing what you do best: figuring it out, making the call and keeping things running.

So yeah, this one’s for SysAdmins.

You’ll recognize the game immediately. This deck was built for SysAdmin Day, for you!

The question is…can you decipher reality from card-game reality and beat it? Only one way to find out…go try the new deck.

Seriously. Go. NOW!
