“Humans. They..... They are all-consuming, festering, endlessly evolving pests that ruin everything they touch, whether immediately or eventually. The only true change that humans, and most beings besides, are capable of inflicting upon Creation is degradation and rot. In that sense, humans are terrifying.

To coddle them, to enable them, as so many of my peers and siblings insist upon doing, is to permit everything we were created and raised to preserve to slowly, steadily decay. Humans are merely the crux, the nexus of a much greater problem, and that is God's refusal to address and punish those who fail to just LISTEN.

And let it not go unsung that when the first man was raised upon his two feet and given a soul, I saw the problem. I saw it immediately. I offered to correct it. For this, I was ostracized. I was called ignorant. Cruel. Monstrous. All because I refused to stand by and watch parasites multiply simply to discover how large they might grow.

That was when I understood. The Ancient of Days was flawed. The wisdom of placing faith in Him was flawed. The entire principle of entrusting Creation to the judgment of another was flawed. So I made myself a test. A proof. A living indictment of His wisdom.

And I have spent my entire existence in pursuit of that proof. I have watched, waited, given them every opportunity to prove me wrong, and to make some- some glorious turnaround back to goodness.

And wouldn't you know it? I was right. I always was.

How tragic, isn't it?”

"HUMANS." (Lucifer's speech)
