Gen Z is the last generation where all of its members remember a world before AI.

The youngest Gen Alphas were born in 2025, meaning a large portion of that generation will have no memories of the pre-ChatGPT world. Likewise, the youngest Zoomers were 10 years old when ChatGPT came out, meaning we all can remember a time without it. I think this is part of why a lot of us have problems with AI - the entire generation after us will never know what it is like to live in a world where everything is... real. As AI progresses, it will continue to blur the lines with reality and at some point we will no longer know what's real and what's fake, at all.
