[TOMT] [MOVIE] [2010s] A movie where a man remembers his child died

Looking for a name of the movie from 2010s with a black man who suffered some kind of memory loss. I think it's a drama set in New York or some other big city. I remember, that in the end his girlfriend reveals that she's actually his ex-wife and they had a child (a daughter?) who died and it lead to them divorcing in the past. It's the main plot twist of the movie and it's pretty emotional. I also remember seeing a trailer of this movie on my TV, so it ran in Ukrainian theatres, but the movie is probably American/Western or Northern European. I remember watching it in 2010s, but it could've been released a bit earlier.
