How many credit hours do you take and how many hours per week do you spend on school?

I am preparing to start mechanical engineering as an adult and in trying to prepare myself for how strenuous the load will be. I will have to work a significant amount while I’m in school.

I would love to hear about your experience so I can get some idea of the credit hour to actual time investment ratio.
