Met a worker at Ansar Gallery's tea shop who was struggling

I went to Ansar Gallery Old Airport branch today, and my mom and I wanted to get chai on the way out. The guy on the booth seemed so sleepy and was nodding, and his eyes were so red. My mom jokingly said to him, "Beta, sleeping on the job?" He also gave a tired smile and got up to take her order. My mom continued the conversation, and he explained that he had a fever and took medicine, so he was getting sleepy from the meds. My mom told him to go home and rest, but he explained that his irani boss won't allow a break. He said he gets to leave at 12 am and he has to be back by 5 amso he gets 5 hours less of sleep every day. He gets no holidays and works 7 days a week. His salary was a measly 200 qar/month, and that includes transport and food. For the past 2 years he's been living like this. He might get a chance to visit his home next month, inshallah. But that is still at an Inshallah and not confirmed. He said his boss would not listen and he would be fired if he spoke up. We felt really bad for him and my mom gave him some duaas and words of encouragement and some extra money.

If you guys go to this Ansar, maybe get a chai from him and support him in any way you can.

I really cant believe that bosses can treat their employees this way. How do they sleep at night knowing they're working actual living people like dogs.
