Whole pack of prerolls and none of them hit?

I buy a lot of prerolls so I've had my fair share of shitty packed joints and I usually have no problem fixing them. But this newest pack I bought is the goddamn Fort Knox of joints. I've tried massaging, packing, poking holes up through the filter for air flow, roasting the filter. Notta. I've tried three so far and they're all the exact same way. Emptying them into a bowl is the obvious last resort but I love me a joint and I'd be tickled to salvage them if I can. What're y'alls technique?
