Hey all — sharing a tool I've been building, forked from [Armok's Blueprint](https://github.com/Pythongor/armoks-blueprint) but rebuilt pretty extensively at this point.

**The short version:** paint a world exactly the way you want it — elevation, rainfall, temperature, drainage, volcanism, savagery — and export a `world_gen.txt` that generates precisely what you painted. DF pulled the in-game world painter in v50, but the underlying data path still works, so this gives it back with a live preview of what the game will actually produce.

**What it does:**

* **Paint biomes, not numbers.** Pick "Taiga" and paint — it solves for the elevation/rainfall/temp/drainage combo that produces taiga, and keeps whatever the tile already had that still fits. All 29 biomes, grouped and searchable. Layer locks so you can protect terrain you've already shaped while you paint climate over it.
* **Fill and eyedropper tools** — flood a whole continent with one biome in a click, or pick up whatever's under the cursor.
* **21 starting presets** — blank canvases from pocket to large, procedural archetypes (Pangaea, Archipelago, Highlands, etc.), and 8 real Earth regions.
* **Game View** renders your world with DF's own actual world-map sprites — point it at your `graphics` folder, nothing gets uploaded. The biome resolver behind it was calibrated against a 257×257 v53.16 test world covering every combination of the four terrain inputs via DFHack — matches the game's own classification **99.95%** of the time, so what you see is what you get.
* **World settings that don't require memorizing DF's token names.** Sectioned by intent (Terrain, Climate, Life, Underground, etc.), with a "Read This World" advisor that measures your finished world and flags the settings that would cause endless regeneration — demanding more mountain tiles than exist, rivers on a world too flat for them, that kind of thing.
* **Optional geological simulation**, if you'd rather grow a world than paint one. Plate tectonics, mantle plumes, mountain building/erosion, sea level and climate cycling. Run it enough times and you get real supercontinent breakup-and-reassembly cycles, with geological "provinces" that track which crust came from where — split a continent and you can still see that two separated mountain ranges used to be one.
* Drag-and-drop `world_gen.txt` import restores your painted blueprints, so you can share a file and someone else gets your exact world back, still editable.

**Get it:** Windows exe on the Releases page — unsigned, so SmartScreen will complain, click through it. Or grab the source and run it with Node.

**Known rough edges**, because I'd rather you hear it from me than find it yourself:

* Elevation 270–340 is a coin flip (DF perturbs elevation before classifying it — paint outside that band for predictable results)
* Lakes can't be previewed, since DF carves them independently
* Continents from the geological simulation are rounder than real ones — missing the failed-rift bays that carve real coastlines
* No lasso/masked painting yet, just layer locks

This has had way more hours of me running simulations against it than anyone actually using it, so **feedback is genuinely wanted** — especially anything that looks wrong on screen, or a world the advisor passed that DF still rejected. Screenshots help a ton.
