Indian opposition and paper leak.

The interesting question isn't simply whether the anti-paper-leak amendment passed—it did. The bill faced repeated Opposition disruptions in Parliament, with the Opposition demanding discussion of the government's handling of the NEET controversy and student protests. At the same time, questions were raised about whether the student movement applied the same urgency to examination controversies in opposition-ruled states such as Punjab and Jharkhand.

That raises a broader question: should examination integrity be treated as a political issue, or should the same standard apply regardless of which government is responsible?
