I want to talk about my ending...*SPOILERS*
Okay, let me preface...I did use a mod to extend my 30 day time limit. I know people have mixed feelings about it, so if you're against that mod, cool, but you can skip this post.
With that said, my ending left me kind of confused?
Throughout my playthrough, I did most of the quests and activities, but mostly focused on pissing off Ambrus, Xanthe, and Bakir. I killed them all.
Once I reached the "dreaded" infamy level, I was summoned by Brencis to meet him for a parley, where ultimately we ended up fighting anyway. He brought me to Anhorca (spelling?) where I defeated him again. But before he died, he said he left me a parting gift for the last laugh.
When I returned to Vale Sangora, my family was dead. I was the "hero" of the town for slaying all the Vrakhir, but...my family was gone.
I did a few things around Laslea, and talked to some townspeople. I met someone named Neberu, who turned out to also be a Dawnwalker.
The next scene was me visiting a dead/zombie like Lunka in a cave. She was chained up. Neberu met me there in the cave and said the only way to save her was to turn her fully into a Vrakhir...at least I think that's what he meant. He also told me that there was a council called the Augrs, who wanted to summon me, but didn't really elaborate on why. I felt like it could possibly set up for a sequel. But he mentioned me being an Arbiter, specifically because I was able to gain the armor set. So I'm curious, if you didn't get the Arbiter set, would Neberu be a part at all?
The next scene, was me leaving Laslea, with a cart...Lunka happened to be in that cart, still dead/alive and zombie like. I rubbed her cheek and said something to the effect of saving her.
And lastly...which I thought was such a cool scene, was "current" day, showing a carrier delivering a box of blood to me. I was in a modern loft apartment, halfway dying in a chair until I got myself a blood bag. And then some evil shadowy looking figure was in my window and I pulled my claws out to fight them...and that was the end scene.
Did anyone else get this sequence of events? I'm not sure why I never go the chance to go to the coronation and save my family. I never got to that quest before I pissed him off enough to duel him.
Regardless, great game with a great story. I won't be playing with the mod next time so I can see a different ending. Curious about others endings!
