Mazzer Mini-G vs. Philos

Buying Advice

I've been doing serious pour over for a couple of years, and am about to pull the trigger on a Mini-R tomorrow. I'm due to receive my Zerno Z2 in late October (I suppose it'll be November). SSP Lab Sweets, SSP ULF , and Core (the latter for espresso if I want to go with light-medium beans occasionally. No matter how easy it is to switch burrs, it isn't instant. That's why I plan to order another grinder, one that is very good for medium and medium-dark beans for more traditional espresso.

So, I'm thinking the Philos with 1189 burrs if I go with another single-doser, or the Mazzer Mini-G (small hopper). The Mazzer would have to come out forward of the cabinets, and the Philos is pretty big. Otherwise, I mostly make 2-3 pulls/day for me. If my wife or company would like milk drinks, then more.

Are both grinders excellent for medium-dark beans, I do like sweet and rich, but would like to get the highlights from good beans? If they are, which would be better for the day to day espresso?
