Should I take Malbonte’s route?

I’m not sure if it’s worth replaying the whole HS (1&2) just for him. I romanced Lucifer on my first playthrough.
I know people either LOVE Malbonte or hate him, thinking he’s too cold/red flag😅 I just don’t want Vicky to spend the whole story chasing after him and only getting the cold shoulder from him. Is his route really worth it???
