Pre Licensure Guidance

Resources :karma:

Hi!
I (F25) am currently in the final year of my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program and plan to start my practicum this Fall and internship this Winter. I’ve been dealing with major imposter syndrome and feeling a bit underprepared, especially since my coursework was online and I didn’t have many opportunities to practice my skills in person with peers. I’m curious if anyone would be willing to share any specific resources (i.e., books, videos, worksheets, etc) or general advice that has helped them to be more confident in their counseling skills in the pre-licensure stage? My practicum/internship will be at a Women’s Addiction Treatment Center to add a little bit more context.

Also, I am new to posting on Reddit so if anyone knows of any subreddits that may be more appropriate for this question please don’t hesitate to let me know! TYIA!
