First Time Playing Elden Ring ps5 Any Advice?

Hey everyone! I finally took the plunge I’m not really a fan of soulslikes, but I don’t have any games keeping me hooked until GTA 6, so I decided to give this one a shot. A few people recommended it and told me I wouldn’t regret it.
I spent $60 on it and I’m about to start playing. I’ve never played this game before, so what advice would you give a complete beginner? Anything you wish you knew before playing for the first time?
Thanks everyone!
