Puma and VE Procs. DW vs 1H

Rolled a SK to partner with necro, Shaman. Most here recommended over my warrior.

It got me thinking about puma and VE. Both process frequently when DW on my Warrior. Is that frequency going to drop because I will be using 1h or 2h?
