Infantry kits should cost a lot with a high risk of losing money

Discussion & Feedback

people are complaining that infantry costs too much and makes too little profit, I think this is incorrect for multiple reasons.

  1. if infantry made lots of profit all the time and kits weren't as expensive then gear choice is irrelevant because everyone will be running around in meta equipment.

  2. every other boring role in the game would lose players, because why would they play a boring role with high profit when they can play an exciting role with high profit? the incentive for boring roles is higher profit compared to infantry which is HEALTHY for the game otherwise it would turn into battlefield.

  3. people are fundamentally looking at the game with the wrong perspective, expensive infantry kits are MEANT TO BE A MONEY SINK. instead of looking at the game as how much money can you make, you should be thinking of how you can win the game - expensive kits will give you this advantage as you can take more fights and be more aggressive in the hot zone, take space on the map etc

  4. If you are good at the game you can make plenty profit as infantry already. I've had a match where I made 90k in a single life playing infantry, many other players have said the same thing. I think there are a lot of shit players crying about how they are losing money when they are just shit. then they go and play base building simulator and realise they can make lots of profit that way, immediately head to Reddit, and bitch that they can't make bank as an infantry. it's a skill issue. even good players have 5 life's when they die instantly and lose 60+k. it is what it is.

With that being said there is a big thing that does need changing, I think fundamentally the riskiest playstyle should be rewarded the most e.g playing in Hotzone. Currently there seems to be too much fob camping and mortar spam and drill spam that it just seems the better way to play. regardless I do not think the profitability of infantry needs drastically increasing.
