Potential scam?

I am a therapist and just had a consultation call with someone who claimed to be in his early 20s but sounded much older. He reported he wanted help navigating infidelity by his wife. He mentioned a few graphic details about his wife’s infidelity, and then asked if I would be offended if we discussed sexual topics together. He said he found me on psychology today (where I have a video of myself speaking.) I knew this could be a scam but it didn’t fully sink in until after the call. I blocked his number and email but I feel weird, and never thought I’d find myself in this position even though I’ve read about it happening. Is there anything else to do? Did I overreact by blocking?
