Toast Tables?

We've recently switched to Toast Tables and it seems like it's missing some fairly key features.

#1 There's no restaurant daily overview screen like on most booking systems. You can see the chronological list of booking, and you can see a table plan, but you can't see the whole days schedule at a glance so it's harder to optimise table turns, and harder to spot where you've got a gap to take a walk in.

This feels like a fairly major oversight but as we've only just started using it maybe its not as big a problem as it seems? Has this been an issue for anyone else? Does Toast handle it in a different way?

#2. There's no way of setting table assignment priority. On our old OS we'd have the reservation system set up with certain tables saved til last because they were flexible - ie: they could seat 4x2s, 2x4s or an 8-top. That way it would still show availability to all those size parties whereas on Toast we can lose out on a booking of eight because it randomly decides which table to use for a booking of four.

The workarounds suggested by customer support seem needlessly complex when its something that would be so obvious to fix.
