I intensely dislike Kibellah's content in the ending slides

SpoilerRogue Trader: Game and Story

I've heard people be upset about various companions and their endings, but, in my opinion, none are worse than whatever the fuck is going on with Kibellah.

Why is she absolutely everywhere? It would be alright, if her involvement made sense, but half of her content feels random at best, and forced at worst.
The funny part, for me, is that it felt like certain slides were written by someone not fully aware of the total story of all companions. I'd even go as far as to say they feel out of character for Kibellah herself (specific path/ Eogunn).
I can only conclude she was "forced" into some storylines due to her popularity or company favoritism and this cheapened her character.

My Kibellah was on her Humility route. I'm under no delusion that she's a saint, or a full Iconoclast character, but her reactions to certain events were absolutely bizarre. I genuinely feel like some content was included just for the sake of favoritism of her character. As I kept going through the slides, I just did not understand why Kibellah had to be mentioned every 5 seconds.
Heinrix, who I romanced, had a short paragraph and called it a day, yet he feels overall way more relevant as a character to the plot and world (former member of the Inquisition) than Kibellah (leader of the Bloodspun Web) - who had a slide with Cassia, Jae, Eogunn, Solomorne and Marazhai? I've heard complaints about Kibellah beforehand, but now I got to see what everyone was talking about.

The funny part - I romanced Kibellah up to act 4, so I do like the character. However, the slides genuinely made her writing feel meh and cheap.

Where I lost it: Her killing Eogunn. What the fuck was that for? This could have made sense for Fanatic Kibellah, but not for Humility Kibellah. Characters with way less content than her have more reactivity to the plot, so I cannot see any reason for including this ending.

I think it was this moment where I genuinely came to the conclusion they were forcing Kibellah's involvement in the ending slides because that could be the only explanation for the overall experience.

Before anyone says it's a glitch, I tracked every flag and counter, made sure to check if any of my endings glitched, and nope, they did not. My Eogunn was on the acceptance path, he made peace with death and devoted his life to helping atone for mistakes of the past. This is the intended ending.

Why in the world was the writing decision that Kibellah, on her Humility route, where she ended up having the most Iconoclast points possible, and even Heretic, decided to be the one to kill Eogunn for "going against death"? He even helped Jae with her issues in her ending slide, which I felt was a very sweet moment overall. I understand why his teachings were seen as heretical, and I could understand someone like Dogmatic Pasqal having issues with his approach, but Humility Kibellah? Is curing cancer going against death now?

It's like whomever wrote this slide did not even play Eogunn's quest or hear his speech on not fighting death.

The reason this upset me was because I felt Eogunn had one of the most fascinating quests in the entire game - and his life was narratively thrown away for a bizarre conclusion with Kibellah.

In her Act 4 quest, when she stands trial, she explicitly kills that dude, not because of Tarot, but because she feels that he was cruel, did not help people and she couldn't stand by and watch it (on her more compassionate path). So technically, the opposite of Eogunn on acceptance path? I have to ask, where is the logic in her killing Eogunn? The same Kibellah who hated nobles who stood by and watched others suffer? The same Eogunn who decided to repay his sins and help people heal? If you ask me, Kibellah narratively had around 30 people she should have killed before Eogunn by then.

I can understand that Kibellah is a fundamentalist, and no amount of character interaction will change this, but everything about the writing where SHE is the one to kill Death Accepting Eogunn feels crazy.

It's like the writer of this slide either wasn't acquainted with either Kibellah's or Eogunn's character arcs, or both.

More than anything, I really get the impression they added Kibellah here just for the sake of having her mentioned. She's just everywhere in the ending for no discernable reason.

I won't even point out that my character was Iconoclast on a Nomos ending, so we were pronounced a heretic by the end as well.

I understand that not all characters have reactivity to the choices made by the RT, but when Argenta with her one slide, reacted to the RT being Iconoclast with Nomos, and chose to step down as the leader of her order due to conflicting loyalties, I expect Kibellah with her 35 thousand slides to have more reactivity to RT decisions than her. That's why Humility Kibellah being the one to kill Eogunn betrays really shitty writing priorities. They included her just to include her - and made her seem like a total idiot. Not even a zealot, just an inconsistent person who had zero idea who Eogunn was. You could say "she wasn't close with him", but then why narratively include her in his finale? There's just no justification for it writing wise.

Kibellah mentioned to the Inquisitor that she would kill us without a problem if the Tarot requested our life, so, at some point I have to ask, why did Kibellah not go after the RT? It's like any animosity towards RT was removed to please the player, but she was inserted into every plot line where they needed a single character to show up.

I assume that some of these events may seem reasonable if a person hasn't paid attention, but genuinely, where the fuck did some of these events come from. All of the above, and below, just tell me the ending was lazily written, with little regard to the game experience.

Why did Cassia and Kibellah get an entire slide about their short lived friendship?
I've seen almost zero interactions between the two the entire game. By this logic, I could warrant friendship slides for more companions than her and x.
Why in the world is Marazhai, as an Archon, having a rivalry spanning years or decades, with the Bloodspun Web cult? I don't think it needs to be mentioned how random this is, and what a severe power imbalance we have going on.
When the two of them had almost no interactions, aside from him saying she didn't interest him?
If any foreshadowing was dropped, that would have been fine, but no. They have some thematic connection, but it's like a Rogue Trader having year long beef with a chief of some village on random ass planet.
The fact that the ending of their duel is unclear makes it even more bizarre considering Marazhai's political standing.

Mazarhai, Idira, Ulfar, Yrliet etc. all had way more interactions together, that I do not understand why Kibellah keeps getting narratives that feel like they do not belong. Why not give them to others as well. Why not make an Idira and Heinrix slide? They had 10x more interactions and thematic significance than Kibellah had with any of these people. What about Yrliet?

Jae and her hatred of the BSW makes sense - and I assume people are mostly surprised by it because they never took Jae out much to see her interact with specific story triggers. This was foreshadowed, so I had no issue with it.

Then, once more, why in the world is she showing up in an interaction with Solomorne? It could have been any other character, it just felt so insignificant and unimportant to include.

I would have preferred 10 more Abellard slides, someone who really felt like the cornerstone of the retinue. I

Don't get me wrong, I do not dislike the character, but I dislike what they did with her.

The obvious favoritism towards her made the storytelling worse - and this is the only logic I can justify in why they botched Eogunn's ending.
I would have loved if Eogunn and Kibellah had some sort of slide about accepting death, as this would be relevant for their character arcs, but the writing choice was...I am not sure who made this call. It's lost potential.

I can only assume they liked the character and decided they wanted her mentioned without caring how it was done. Her relevance in the storyline just doesn't warrant the attention they gave her over the rest of the retinue, so I simply do not see any logic to the companion slides given to her.
An inquisitor, Archon, Astartes, our Senechal and Nomos all have less slides than Kibellah.
The favoritism would be more acceptable if it were logical.

Moreover, it's confusing that some of these slides remain, and some content (Marazhai and heretic RT for example) gets cut for lore inconsistency, since certain Kibellah slides feel, at the very least, equally absurd. (Archon Marazhai and her having a rivalry that ends in a mystery).
Why in the world would an Archon of a Kabal go and die to a random Vizsier? What the fuck is going on?

tl;dr I don't hate Kibellah, but I wish the other companions got as many slides as her.
That Eogunn slide gave me a seizure, ngl.

Bitching over. I had to vent this out. What a way to make me dislike content for a character I enjoyed
