About MTA job application status…

I recently applied to several job applications on the MTA careers website & so far out of the fifteen jobs applications that I submitted, only two have the status as showing “In Process”. What does that mean exactly? Is that a very good sign that I’ll get a call or a email soon to do an interview? - One shows that I applied to that job 4 days ago & the other shows that I applied to that job a month ago but they both still hold that status.
