Gas prices and the economy

Political

When gas prices are high and the President is someone I voted for, the President has no control over gas prices.

When gas prices are high and the President is someone I did not vote for, it’s the President’s fault gas prices are high.

When the economy is bad and the President is someone I voted for, the President inherited a bad economy from the previous President.

When the economy is bad and the President is someone I did not vote for, it’s the current President’s fault the economy is bad.

It’s simple, really.
