When did other characters started to learn about Hal going crazy, destroying the and GLC and turning into a villain?

I always thought it happened in Zero Hour, at least for most characters learning the truth.

But in Green Lantern #55, before Zero Hour, Alan Scott told Kyle the story of Hal and about him turning into Parallax and how heroes had already fought him.

In the first or second issue of Zero Hour, Guy already knew about Hal and GLC's fall.

Something as big as the GLC being destroyed would be shocking news across the universe, but knowing it happened because of Hal's actions is more specific information.
