I Want to knit the Norma Sweater with chunkier yarn

Beginner knitter here -

I knit the step by step sweater on 4.5mm needles and am looking for a new sweater that uses slightly larger needles. I'm a slow knitter and thicker yarn is just so much faster to knit! I also live in a cold climate, so I tend to like heavy sweaters.

I LOVE the Norma sweater but it would take me forever to knit on small needles.

Does anyone have recommendations for what I should do? Do I just take the design and put it on a different pattern for a sweater? Don't even know how to do that but I think that I could figure it out.

Also, if anyone has any thicker yarn recommendations, I would love that! I bought yarn in Iceland for another sweater that used 6mm needles for the body and that was a dream
