Homebrew Blood Axe Question.

I have been homebrewing idea with different idea for various Ork clans and ideas, and today I thought of one, but I was wondering if it would be lore friendly. Now for reference, this isn't for tabletop or gaming, this is simply my own idea that I may make models out of and write about.

So, may idea or at least the basic outline of it is a group of orks who are Blood Axes, I think that is how that goes correct me if I am wrong, begin their life on a planet that was once an imperial world, but was destroyed by a massive war between them and a ork warband/waaagh. As such, they began doing orkish things like normal, but a few of them wondering around looking for scrap, metal, ammo, food, etc. Found a battlefield of ruin Utlramarine vehicles, soliders, and more.

They began looking through everything and even in the building and factoires and found more and more info about the 'umies that were once there. Fascaninted by their tatcics, color, symbol, and more they began adopting them and began calling themselves Da Ultra Orks, which are like the Ultramairnes but more orky and better because Orks.

So I was wondering if my blood axes could be like the ultramrines, but still have some orkish style to them because I really like the idea of this highly organized ork warband, but also can be silly at the same time to some degree. If not that is fine.
