Starship Captains from across the quadrant have spent years teaming with their friends and enemies and strangers to form powerful Fleets and Armadas, banding together to better protect the galaxy. And now, through a new special Federation initiative, those Fleets will soon be able to unlock new variations of classic hero starships. These first two Fleet Mod Starships are variations of the Intrepid and Defiant classes, given interesting tweaks to the ships’ existing stats, and brand new customization parts that you’ll unlock for these ships, and for other variations of the Intrepid and Defiant that you own.

Both ships will be available in your Fleet Starbase, unlocked when the Starbase is at least Tier 1, and the Military track is up to Level V. Both ships require Starfleet Allegiance, and will not be obtainable by KDF aligned players. (However, the next step is to make similar ships for KDF or Neutral players, so stay tuned.)  Both ships must be researched and purchased separately, but cost the same. Here’s what they’ll cost, both for the initial project, and to purchase the ships at the Ship Vendor.

# Fleet Intrepid Intel Science Vessel

The Fleet Intrepid Intel Science Vessel \[MOD\] \[T6\] has been specifically designed to support your Fleet. Fleet Starships are built to the highest standard and have increased Hull Hit Points and Shield Strength.

This starship features a Commander Science/Intel specialist seat, and a Lt Commander Science/Miracle Worker Specialist Seat.

Intelligence starships feature Active Sensor Arrays. These allow Intel craft to gather information about their target to expose a vulnerability in their defenses, via the "Gather Intel" series of abilities. All Intel Ships are also capable of passive Warp Signature Masking, which grants the ship a tiny amount of Stealth, rendering it undetectable at long range.

The Fleet Defiant Pilot Escort \[MOD\] \[T6\] is an updated variant of the Defiant Class Design. Updated systems and technology has been fitted, and the design has been approved for production and deployment.

This starship features a Commander Tactical/Pilot specialist seat, and a Lt Commander Tactical/Command Specialist Seat.

Pilot ships are highly agile craft designed to perform advanced maneuvers that can give them a deadly edge in combat. Your starship can perform a sudden maneuver in each horizontal direction: Forward, Backward, Left or Right. Executing each maneuver will rapidly reposition your starship while granting very brief damage immunity, but costs all available thruster fuel which takes several seconds to recover.
