The Avid Eleven Rack - anyone have one?

so a friend is letting me borrow their Eleven Rack to play with. from what I can tell, it's a guitar audio interface made by Avid around 2008-2009. I was able to find tons of patches on the web, but I wanted to see if users here had one and what they thought.

a few questions: I'm assuming one could run a bass through one, as well as guitar? any other cool things to try out? I'm hoping I can update the firmware, so that's my next project.

thanks!
