Enemies to lovers with lovemaking instead of hate sex?

I like the tension that comes with enemies to lovers, but I want them to yearn for each other (or the man to yearn more) and not be super nasty and aggressive to each other when they do get together.

A series that I liked that I think did this well was the Captive Prince trilogy by CS Pacat.

The romance doesn’t have to be the center of the plot, and I would like if there was a larger plot than just their relationship. I like sci-fi, horror, fantasy, and romance! I’m willing to give a different genre a try though if there’s a book that really fits what I’m describing :).
