I think I have Fibromyalgia

Before I say whats going on with me I want you all to know I have an appointment with my primary care doctor next Wednesday to discuss everything.

A couple of years ago I started getting this strange pain in my hips that would feel like burning and then randomly ly disappear. never had any clue what caused it. Then last year early in the year I behan getting a tingling sensation randomly all throughout my body accompanied with strange stabbing sensations basically anywhere. sometimes in my legs, either leg , or in my arms or neck or shoulders, lower back pain. But at the time I thought it was diabetes since I’m overweight. I saw my pcp and she had a bunch of lab work done. no diabetes. Then I thought maybe I had hashinotos since at times my thyroid is out of wack- she tested me for that and it was negative although my CRP was slightly elevated at 6.

eventually after completing panicking thinking I had cancer (I have health anxiety but also had a parent diagnosed with cancer and a grandparent who died of cancer) the pain just went away. for like almost a year expect for the occasional random pain here and there.

and then about a week ago I started feeling like a burning sensation and stabbing pain near my boob ( same thing happened to me last year and I had a breast ultrasound done and it was fine and pain went away), except this time it’s so much worse. pain stays for days and starts on one side of my boob but is now around my other boob. then it disappears but I begin to have the random shooting pains in both of my thighs, my shoulders , my back and for some reason I woke up and my right arm felt like it had a sunburn. like a patch of my skin had been sunburned except that there was no redness just sensitivity.

this is the worst the pain has been and I’m utterky exhausted. I have brain fog and fatigue and my body feels like I have the flue just like last year. I have been trying to figure out what’s wrong with me and other than cancer or fibromyalgia I genuinely don’t know what could cause this type of widespread pain. it’s everywhere. my back hurts right now, thighs, arms, shoulders. also in my joints. it’s just exhausting.

what should I ask my doctor for next week if you e been through this and is there any type of testing I can have done? please help
