Both sides are lying in the rishta market and everyone knows it
Boys side:
Most of you want a “practising, modest, homely, low-maintenance” wife… while secretly scrolling half-naked Instagram models and expecting her to look like one after marriage. You want a girl who cooks, cleans, respects your mother, never complains, and still acts like a girlfriend in bed. You call it “standards.” Others call it delusion.
Girls side:
Most of you want a tall, fair, rich, foreign-settled, emotionally available, zero-baggage guy who will give you complete freedom, never let his mother interfere, and still treat you like a princess. You say “I’m simple” while filtering every photo and rejecting anyone who earns under a certain amount. Then you complain there are no good men left.
Both sides are playing the same game:
Maximum demands. Minimum self-reflection.
The result?
Endless talking stages, ghosting, ego battles, and people still single at 30+ while blaming the opposite gender.
The truth is simple:
Most people here are not looking for a partner. They are looking for an upgraded version of themselves with zero flaws.
Who is actually ready to admit this?
