Advice with NO CONTACT please?

So for context, my ex and I broke up like 3 weeks ago after a 3yr relationship.

He asked for a temporary break, and I asked him if would he come back as a whole 100% after that temporary break, and he said something like we wont be in this situation if we are still 100%.

He cited that the relationship became stale, and he felt like he is the only one that always initiates stuffs.

Anyway, I told him since youre not coming back to me as a whole, youre basically checking options in that temporary break so I chose permanent, also I think to gain some control, as I was about to get dumped.

We broke up in text as I was in travel mode, NO CONTACT for a week, but the reality was sinking in to me so I met him the first week of NO CONTACT and we had sex and he agreed and our sex is still intense and really still full of love. The next day I woke up for more realization and it really hits me we are breaking up, so I texted him again if we wanta coffee that day as I want to say more, and he agreed. We had coffee, did some walking, holding hands while walking, kiss each other, cuddle under a tree, then kiss more and say things and say our goodbyes.

I texted him long text after 2 days of how much I thought we were compatible and how much I love him and all he replies is he loves me too and he wishes me the best.

I didnt reply anymore for 2 weeks now, I plan to go NO CONTACT, because for me I have self worth. But reading stuffs here, it seems it is a way for reconciliation too?

My first question is; who is the dumper here? Am I or him? He asked for a temporary break but I said lets just do it permanently.

We ended it up amicably, on the last days we met we clearly still love each other so much. I still love him and I miss him, but I am respecting his break, tbh thats why I dont want to contact him at all and I unfollowed him in IG.

I didnt know it has a term called NO CONTACT. I wonder if who should initiate soon? I am willing to do it coz I love him and I miss him but if someone will say I was the one dumped then I wouldnt, so that when the time comes he will text, thats because he wants it and I didnt influence it at all.
