2yrs of keto/low carb, but dealing with fatigue
Hello beautiful people,
My journey started early 2024, when I went on an elimination diet to heal through multiple illnesses.
I started with a grain free diet, to low carb to eventually, carnivore.
I followed the carnivore diet for 9 months, I felt fantastic, I got in the best shape of my life, I was able to reverse 90% of my Illnesses and symptoms, but towards the end I started to feel this fatigue and complete loss of libido.
I got my blood work done and my HOMA IR was 0.4. I was also deficient in B vitamins.
So I decided to add some carbs (primarily veggies and fruits) and dairy. Now fast forward to today, I've been eating keto/low carb.
But......I have this constant fatigue throughout the day, and it really kicks in the moment I do resistance training. I can't even do 3-4 sets before my body gives up. What is happening?
I usually workout 3x a week. And 3days of light cardio for 30mins each.
I eat to complete satiety, and normally consume 1-2 meals a day. But in that pursuit I think I might have been eating less, but it's difficult to say because I don't feel hungry.
**My meals**
Meal 1: 8 whole eggs cooked in 20g of butter + some veggies
Meal 2: 400g of chicken / lamb / fish OR 300g Cottage cheese, cooked in 30-40g of ghee + some rice / veggies
I'm 27M, I weigh 68-69kg but I'm stuck at 20% bf. On Carnivore I got down to 14%.
**My supplement stack**
Vitamin D3 + K2: 10k IU
Magnesium Glycinate: 500mg elemental
Lugol's iodine 5%: 1 drop (6.25mg) started 3 days ago
Potassium Chloride: 500mg elemental
Omega 3: \~2400mg
I need help figuring this out. I'm sick of this fatigue, and it really irritates me that I can't even workout.
