Looking for advice

Apologies if this is vague, I'll try to keep it as short as possible. I'm 21, as well as my closest friends who are living in Florida. I'm in college, and will transfer to UCF soon. 2 of my friends want to rent out a house with me in roughly 3 years, splitting the cost between the 3 of us. I'm currently working a regular job and they're currently doing HVAC. I know a lot can change in 3 years, but I'm not sure how realistic such plans were and was looking for advice from someone who's perhaps been in a similar situation or is more knowledgeable than me. Any help or questions to further clarify are appreciated!
