Yes, I am sure you can make it cheaper at home
One of the worst things people used to say to me when I was working fast food was how they could make it cheaper at home in response to how expensive our flagship burger was ($5 at the time). Well no shit Sherlock, you're not paying for a burger, you are paying to be SERVED a burger. At home you're paying for the ingredients you bought at the store, your utilities and your rent. At a restaurant, no matter how cheap said restaurant is, you're paying for the ingredients, the 3 or 4 people it took to prepare it, their utilities, rent, marketing, and all the overhead like payroll and HR. Do you think that other people do their jobs for free? I think people who say stupid things like that should be made to take a class.
