This was what I thought was the nursery of my dreams, full of whimsical vibes and pops of color, I went crazy with the ceiling decor, the DIY art, and the decor from my baby moon trip to Japan. The good intentions were there but this is why this room was so impractical:

\- The ceiling was crazy distracting for my baby, I ended up taking everything down and she couldn't focus during feedings and it kept her up since it was so entertaining (the stars would slowly flicker with the air being pumped out from the vent)

\- The decor was also distracting when trying to soothe to sleep and nurse

\- I ended up not even touching the crib and using a Moises and then a floor bed.

\- never ended up changing her on the changing pad as it was so dangerous to put my baby there, I felt way more comfortable changing her on the bed since I made her a changing pad that I sewed with a quilt.

Sometimes we see these insanely cute rooms and before we have kids we get so excited! But as we enter parenthood and discover what a baby actually needs it's so funny seeing those beautiful rooms changed or untouched, this would have been an amazing playroom for a toddler, unfortunately not a nursery for a baby, but I had the best time ever putting it together regardless!
