Yeah, it's a little petty to make a whole post about this, but it genuinely feels completely backwards to remove player options in a sequel to a game that prided itself on granting the player even more options compared to the first, while ALSO touting your new game as even better than the second. I *also* do not like the tone people have been taking with discussion about this.

Hopefully my thoughts are clear and don't come off as rage because I genuinely want this game to be a huge success and from what I've seen so far it's got major potential to be that, but I also just keep looking back at this decision and wondering why we're going backwards? Even from a balance standpoint I don't see the actual point. The entire purpose of Xenoverse has been to flaunt your power and they want to take power out of our hands?

Almost every transformation that has been in Xenoverse up to this point has three stages to it. I would go so far as to argue the game itself is built around that fact. Yes, Xenoverse 3 is a totally different game that is deliberately being different in an attempt to improve itself. But that doesn't justify ripping what the players have become used to out of their hands just for the sake of being "different".

I don't like the XV3 transformation preview and I don't want to be silent about it either
