Nervous to start

Hey everyone!

I’m an 18 year old who is starting her first subbing assignment tomorrow with 5th grade, and the next day I have 1st. They’re at two different schools, and I have middle school next week with a whole other school.

My main fear is two things.

1. how will I know where to go when it comes to recess, lunch, and specials in a school I’m completely unfamiliar with?

2. what do I ask the office in the morning? I saw a list that said I need to ask if I have after school duty, recess duty, where specials, recess, lunch, the staff restrooms, the classroom, and staff lounge is, how to take attendance, safety protocols, ect but that feels like a lot to try and ease into a conversation at 7:00am. What do I really need to ask the front office and what is unnecessary?
