New charms w/ new card

Hey guys, I posted something similar but the auto took it down and it’s been a while and I haven’t heard from the mods yet. I’m sure they’re cute is very full has my queue for the songwriter that I’m moderate against rather quickly.

I have the new card to activate for the Afterpay feature. I just wanted to know if activating that card will affect my DD that I get every two weeks… or does my account info stay the same and it’s just a new card with the benefit of the new features and since it’s a new card number do I activate it first before I purchase one of the tag charms?
