Do you prefer/recommend a clamp meter or mm

Clamp meters are slimmer and more portable. For nothing extreme mostly just voltage and resistance/continuity a clamp meter would do the job? Horses for courses it seems like unless it’s more industrial/sensitive work it’s not so important more preference? One guy on our team has the little fluke that is almost like a playing card super easy to get around, especially considering he’s never testing anything over 24v.
